Terms of Use
MySun is licensed, not sold. Downloading or using the app means you accept these terms and Apple's standard licence agreement.
Last updated: 26 July 2026
The licence
The MySun app is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, the standard EULA that applies to apps distributed through the App Store. Where anything on this page conflicts with that agreement, that agreement governs. These terms add to it, they do not replace it.
The app, its name, its artwork and this website remain protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
What MySun is, and what it is not
MySun is an informational planning tool. The UV values, Tan Time, skin response and vitamin D figures it shows are model estimates. They are not diagnoses, not measurements, not medical advice, and not a guarantee against skin damage or any other harm.
Do not use MySun as a substitute for professional medical judgement, and do not use it to decide that a given amount of sun exposure is safe. Always protect your skin and consult a clinician for medical questions. Weather and UV data is supplied by third parties and can be unavailable, delayed or wrong.
You are responsible for your own decisions about sun exposure. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for outcomes arising from reliance on the app's estimates.
Your account
Signing in is required for some features. You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple or Google account secure. Do not use MySun in a way that interferes with the service, attempts to circumvent purchase verification or breaks the law.
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. What that removes is described in our Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions
Sun+ is an optional auto renewing subscription sold through the App Store. The current price for your country is shown before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending. Manage or cancel a subscription in Settings on your device under your Apple ID, then Subscriptions. Canceling stops the next renewal; access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
Purchases, renewals, billing and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's own terms. Any free trial period that is offered ends automatically if you purchase a subscription, and unused time is forfeited.
Changes
Features may be added, changed or removed as the app develops. If these terms change we will update this page and the date at the top.
